Speed Up Weight Loss With A Burning Fat Mentor

By Kerri Turner

The average person is now heavier and more out of shape than ever before. A combination of fast, convenience foods and prolonged inactivity have left many people clinically obese. When people are significantly overweight, there chances of developing heart disease, certain cancers and a whole range of related health problems become much greater. A burning fat mentor can help someone lose weight quickly through a combination of exercise and careful diet management.

Joining a local gym is the best option for most people looking to make lifestyle changes. To enlist the services of a fitness instructor or personal trainer can be a very expensive task when done on its own. However, good gyms have teams of experts available to offer advice and guidance and their services are often included in the cost of membership. They are professionally certified individuals who are trained to react to individual limitations and physical capabilities.

The first thing an instructor will do is meet with the client and discuss what the final goal is. For many, the main priority is weight loss. However, there will be some people who want a radical change in lifestyle. Whatever he goal, it is important that an individual's capabilities are assessed before an exercise regime can commence.

A mentor will take a client through all the necessary warm-ups that are required to ensure muscles are sufficiently stretched and warmed up. Only by doing this, will injury be prevented. While there are many fat burning exercises available, many instructors favor the interval training regime as it can be easily adapted to suit an individual's capabilities.

While this form of exercise usually involves running on a treadmill, it can also be done in the pool, on a bike or on a rowing machine. The principle relies on the fact that the individual has a range of exercise levels, rated from one to ten. The routine begins with the exerciser exerting at a level three or four in the their own personal scale.

After the initial level has been completed, the exerciser then has to move up a level or two, again, maintaining it for a minimum of two minutes. This process continues until the exerciser is exerting at level nine or ten. The process then starts from the beginning again and is repeated a number of times, depending on the individual's capabilities.

The great advantage to this form of fat burning exercise is that it is entirely subjective. One person's maximum exertion rate will differ greatly from another's. The key point to remember is that the individual exercises outside of their own comfort zone. If the body is stretched to the very edge of its capability, the rate of calorie burning will be considerable.

A burning fat mentor will also help clients to manage their diets effectively. Many people dive into vigorous exercise without making any changes at all to diet. When this happens, many of the benefits of exercise are lost through poor eating decisions. People need to be made aware that what is eaten is just as important as when it is eaten. Paradoxically, many people starting out on exercise regimes are not consuming enough calories, meaning workout sessions aren't as effective as they could be.
