Crunchy fruits and vegetables can help to whiten your teeth. The surfaces of your teeth will have some stains gently removed by the abrasive surfaces in these fruits and vegetables. Some great food examples for helping your teeth stay white are carrots, apples, and even celery.

Eating cheese can help the mineral content of your teeth. Studies have shown that the calcium in cheese can help rebuild the enamel on your teeth. Eat cheese a couple times a week for whiter teeth.

If your teeth are grey in appearance, be prepared for the long process of bringing them back to a beautiful pearly white. Many of the usual treatments for yellowed teeth will not work on this type of discoloration. Be aware that a number of treatments are needed to make terribly discolored teeth as bright and white as possible.

As mentioned earlier, your smile is often the first attribute others notice when they meet you, and feeling embarrassed or nervous about it is not something you want. Stained teeth can lead to you feeling self-conscious and not smiling much. By applying the aforementioned tips you will have a brighter smile quickly.
