It's likely you've heard many things about how important it is to think positively about successful weight loss. You will not lose weight if you keep negative thoughts in your mind. If you want to successfully lose weight, you will have to think positively.
Because you believe you are fat, you will struggle to lose weight. Whereas if you actually believe that you are thin instead and just think of the fat as a temporary thing that you must get rid of, this will help you to lose the fat. So you need to build a positive mindset.
Bear in mind that whilst you will not lose weight overnight, positive and consistent action will get you to your successful weight loss objective. You also won't be able to transform your mindset over night, but, again, it can be changed.
Give yourself a reason for successful weight loss. If you give yourself a big enough "why", you will work out the "how".
It could be because of the banter at work about being overweight. You might want to get a girl or boyfriend and you aren't physically attractive. You might have a holiday planned and want to be able to show off in bathing suit.
Set realistic goals. If you set goals that aren't realistic, you will fail to achieve and you will become demotivated. Set small, realistic goals and you will achieve these goals and then you can push yourself to achieve more as you gain confidence and momentum.
And set specific goals so that you can actually know when you achieve them. If you don't know what you are aiming for, how will you know when you reach it?
If you set yourself realistic goals, and goals that excite you, you will become motivated to get to successful weight loss.
