For a while now, I have been reading about three hours a day. I love to read. I like to understand and analyze the books I read. I've always loved to write, too. I have written poems, songs, stories, games, comic strips (two published in "La Opinion," a newspaper in Los Angeles, and in another two newspapers in California) and more - most are written in Spanish.I didn't read too much until about five years ago. I know, most of the people say, "to be a good writer, you need to be a good reader first"... and I'm sure that is true, but I believe in myself and I have so much passion to write. I just do what I love to do and I always do my best in everything.
Mr. Wattles refers to the systematic application of the principles or laws of becoming rich as "doing things in a certain way". He adds that once a person begins to think and act in "a certain way", that person will become rich. The "certain way" in which to think and act is fully explained in later chapters of the book. The first law Mr. Wattles cites is the Law of Cause and Effect, which states that like causes always produce like effects. If you swing your golf club in the same manner as a professional golf player, you will get the same results as he does, regardless of who you are. To quote "The Science of Getting Rich":
"If getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way, and if like causes always produce like effects, then any man or woman who can do things in that way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the domain of exact science." People tend to think that the following are the causes of getting rich:The environment in which you're currently working or have set up your business. That is, the neighborhood, town, city, state, or country in which you currently work. How much talent you have or how smart you are.Choosing a particular business or profession.Doing things others fail to do.Having easy access to capital.
Then for the next 30 days focus on this "one single goal" and proceed with calm and positive assurance that you have already achieved the goal. Don't work for it like a lunatic, but work like you have never done before, knowing that it is all time well spent. The most important part in this exercise is to believe, so believe me, in 30 days your life will transform but if you get off track at any point during these 30 days then you must start all over again from day one.
Try it and see if the results.People tend to think that getting rich is most often a matter of luck and timing. While it is true that some people seem to be preternaturally lucky, the reality is that most wealthy people achieve their financial security by practicing the Law of Attraction. Although many rich people may never have heard of the Law of Attraction, they unwittingly follow its principles.
The Law of Attraction (sometimes known as the Law of Vibration) and its relationship to wealth was documented by Wallace D. Wattles in the early 1900s in a book entitled, "The Science of Getting Rich." Wattles put forth the notion that, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way; those who do things in a certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich; while those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor."
A very clear example of a person who thought, had a purpose, believed, took action and his dream came true is: The miracle of Chinese Bamboo. You are the one in control of your thoughts. You control what comes into your life. Everything starts with a thought, word, with a dream. As I always say, YOU can create miracles in your life! What are you waiting for?
Mr. Wattles says to start where you are right now. Begin in your present business-or other situation-, and in your present location, to do things in a certain way which causes success. Begin right now, wherever you are. There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, Produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created."- Wallace Wattles, "The Science of Getting Rich"
Wallace Wattles, author of "The Science of Getting Rich", says the first principle is thought. Thinking activates the "Formless Stuff" of the universe, to deliver the thought. Like exercise to the body, every thought contributes to the manifestation of the intended results. Also like exercise, results may not become apparent after the first attempt.Persistence is required to manifest thoughts. Faith during the appearance of failure is absolutely necessary. The action required to manifest results is impotent without absolute belief in efficacy of the process.
But changing one's self-talk and self-perceptions are only one part of the equation. Many people who talk about the Law of Attraction focus on thinking (or, more accurately, wishing) and neglect the second, equally important, component - action. In order to achieve prosperity and wealth, many people find that they have to quit their jobs and change the business they're in. Although this may seem counterintuitive, and it does require a deep belief in yourself and the principles of the Law of Attraction, it can be a necessary prerequisite to fulfilling your dreams. In our culture, people are often uncomfortable thinking about, talking about, or actively seeking money. But, as Wattles wrote, "No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money."
