There is no shortage of mistakes you can make that can sabotage the health and beauty of your skin. Our lives and environment are full of things that cause skin problems such as acne, dryness, and wrinkles. We are constantly exposed to toxins in the air, we eat too much junk food and don't drink enough pure water, we worship the sun, and we try to save money on skin care products by buying those that are cheaply made and contain harsh chemicals. Use a lip balm that works well for you and carry it with you everywhere. Have you ever heard of "lip masks?" You rub them on your lips and they remove the dry skin. Lip balms that are based on beeswax or Vaseline work well also to keep your lips smooth after the mask. You need to make sure your lipsticks are moisturizing, not drying. This can be a problem with some brands or colors. Lip balm should be what you apply to your lips at night after you wash your face and remove all traces of your lipstick.

If you don't get enough sleep, you're not only likely to feel tired the next day, but your skin will suffer as well. It's easy to tell when someone isn't getting sufficient sleep by the bags and dark circles that are prominent under their eyes. Sleep is essential to look and feel your best, and no product you use on your skin can make up for not getting enough sleep. Not everyone needs the same amount of sleep, but many people need more than they typically get. If you're tired and draggy all the time, and you don't get at least 7 hours of quality sleep, juggle your schedule to allow the extra time for sleep.
