Live longer by becoming a Vegetarian

By Timothy Jackson

VEGETARION LIFESTYLE CAN REDUCE CHEMICALS IN THE BODY

There is a great study called: "Influence of a five-day vegetarian diet on urinary levels of antibiotics and phthalate metabolites: A pilot study with 'Temple Stay' participants."

Long-term Study of Vegetarians

Vegans accounted for 60 people in the german study, 1165 vegetarians (eating eggs, milk but no meat) with the remainder described as "moderate" vegetarians who occasionally ate fish or meat. The avg health level of a german citizen was compared to members from these groups. Eating meat may not be the only factor in long life though, as the outcome for moderate vegetarians did not diverge from those for vegan or strict vegetarian diets.

The study also indicates a vegetarian diet limits exposure to potentially damaging chemicals from our environment. The issue of the impact of a synergy of antibiotics and phthalates in the body was not addressed.

Healthy eating and Vegetarianism

People who eat lots of vegetables take in lots of antioxidants. Antioxidants help your body repair some of the damage caused by aging. The more plants you eat (and the greater variety) the more raw materials your bod has to make repairs. Read more on antioxidantsand their evil counterpart, free radicals.

A lot of people misunderstand how key your diet is to your health. Don't make this common mistake, become a vegetarian and live a longer healthier life.

Just put your mind too it and you too can become a vegetarian whose life and energy is more fulfilled. Many of your friends will wonder how you did it and ask you for advice on becoming more healthy and well rounded human beings.

Believe me, I know.
