Different types of meditation

Meditation is basically an inner, personal practice and most frequently done without any external participation or simply an approach for achieving a peaceful mind and attaining concentrated mind .Meditation normally involves invoking or building a feeling or internal state, such as empathy, or attending to a specific important point. Christian medication is therefore a form of prayer that based in reflecting on the revelation of God's word. Meditation helps one to discover a lot of things in his life and therefore we can say it is the key for opening the doors of mysteries to your mind .There are so many types of meditation some of these are transcendental meditation, prayer, Zen meditation, Taoist meditation, mindfulness meditation, and Buddhist meditation. Generally meditation can be grouped in two categories that is concentrative and mindful meditation. Let's look at these types of meditation in detail:

Mindfulness meditation- This is a type of meditation that involves fully concentration of mind and being alert all that goes around our lives. This type of meditation trains your mind and soul to mediate on all things that you cannot transform in your life with a great deal of meditation and reflection on the whole idea. Mindfulness meditation is about being attentive, or aware, of the things in your life that you have control over. In mindfulness meditation the main important thing is to watch without judging or analyzing. Spiritual Meditating- This Is like a form of prayer where one meditatesand can hear the voice of God rather than listening. Spiritual meditations bring one in touch with the word of God and purposely reflect upon the revelations of God. Christian meditation aims to enhance the personal relationship based on the love of God that symbolizes Christian unity. Walking meditationsthis kind of meditation involvesmovement of some of the body part such as legs and the way you breathe as you walk. Walking meditation can have a lot of distraction as a result of this movement therefore when you opt for this type of meditation find a quite place with ground level. Passive meditation- This is a type of meditation that uses little or no movement. In most cases this kind of meditation uses mental descriptions or guided feelings as most of meditation does. Most people use exceptional pictures or designs or consecrated statues as tools to help with the meditations. Activity-oriented meditation-this simply means engaging in a repetitive activity such as walking that helps the mind to relax.

Generally Meditation can be of great help to people as it improves concentration, reduce stress, helps mind to relax, Decreased metabolic rate, lower heart rate and also help one to have positive attitude towards life.
